• What’s involved:

You will be collecting monies from former tenants owing debts to the client

You must have previous experience in debt recovery and have excellent organisational skills. You will have your own revenue target & caseload of accounts that will be your responsibility to manage and refer cases for legal action as necessary.

You will also be responsible for the team’s legal caseload and required to apply to County Courts for money judgments. You will be required to monitor the cases, advise on the appropriate legal action and request enforcement of the judgements.

minimum of 2 years debt recovery experience in a social housing related context

You should have experience of requesting oral exams, attachment of benefits, attachment of earnings and placing charging orders on properties.

You must also have extensive experience of making legal referrals with regard to debt recovery and managing the outcomes.

• Anticipated Length of Assignment: 3 months initially, though considered likely to be extended.

• Hours per week: 36, Monday – Friday, normal business hours
