The Client:
Prestigious banking group based in Leeds is currently recruiting a Senior Risk Analyst to join their UK Risk division. Their offices are based just outside of Leeds, easily commutable by car from most of West Yorkshire and surrounding.
The Role:
This post sits in Acquisition Risk, Producing analytics to understand the profitability of the Cards and Sales Finance Portfolios. Specific duties are:
* Run standard and ad hoc statistical reports to support standard portfolio reporting, specific strategy developments, identify opportunity areas etc.
* Undertakes client level analysis and loss forecasts in support of team managers
* Develop best practice credit decision strategies, working X functionally and with other risk teams
* Undertake analysis to determine the impact of strategy changes to key portfolio and operational performance indicators including full P&L forecasts
Requirements:
* Graduate in a numerate discipline or strong numerically with experience in an analytical role in a financial services organisation
* Proven ability in Analysis or Data Management
* Knowledge of Risk tools and techniques across the credit life cycle
* Detailed knowledge of Statistical tools e.g. SAS; Access and other software packages, e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint Strategy Manager
