Job Description

Company:

My client were established over 40 years ago, They offer core services within Quantity Surveying and Project Management and specialise in all building and construction sectors such as commercial-office, mixed-use, education, retail, leisure, restaurant, commercial-residential, industrial, Cat. B office fit-out, private client residential, diplomatic and listed buildings.

Their construction cost control, monitoring and reporting service is paramount to all their clients, and is rigorously applied at all stages of projects, from early feasibility stages through to project completion. The cost control process can be fully integrated into total development cost appraisals.

The company offer a full cost consultancy service comprising feasibility studies, cost planning, value engineering and cost option studies.

Role:

They are seeking an MRICS Quantity Surveyor with a building sectors background to join their team in Central London.

Requirements:

• Degree Qualified / MSc

• MRICS - or in final stage of APC / Assessment

• Working for a consultancy practice

• Experience of PQS Quantity Surveying in Building Sector (Not Civil Engineering)

• Excellent pre and post contract skills

• Good experience of cost management, variations, final accounts, sub contractors payments, package measurement and general QS process.

• London based preferred
