Job Description

Company:

Our client is a professional quantity surveying practice and project management consultancy based in Central London. They have involvement with a wide variety of European building and engineering projects and management of public, private and utility sector works.

Role:

Our client is seeking to recruit a Cost Manager and/or Senior Cost Manager to work in their London offices.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be degree qualified and chartered members of RICS (or equivalent) or working towards attaining chartered status in the near future.

• You should have experience of building projects, ideally including some hotels and education projects.

• Previous experience of carrying out the role of Employer's Agent is desirable.

• The successful candidate will be a client facing team player, confident working under pressure to strict deadlines with minimal supervision.

• Good communication skills are essential.

• Candidates must demonstrate a track record (supported by relevant references) of personally managing projects up to £5m and working as part of a team on projects in the range £5m to £40m.
