Job Description

Year 5 Primary Teacher

A Year 5 primary teacher with solid experience teaching Key Stage 2 is required to teach within a school located in Hackney for an immediate start.  

The successful applicant will be working alongside a team a hardworking teach of teachers, NQTs, TAs, and a dynamic Head Teacher. The ideal candidate will have experience mentoring NQTs with the support of a TA.

The position requires an upbeat and confident teacher who is willing to share their skills and experience with other members of the team.

To apply for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

-          Eligible to work in the UK

-          Qualified to teach primary

-          At least one years’ experience teaching Year 5

-          Valid references, CRB/police checks

Successful applicants will need to posses the following skills:

-          Exceptional literacy and numeracy skills

-          Outstanding teaching skills

-          Positive and creative approach to teaching

-          Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

-          Highly organised with excellent preparation

-          Excellent communication skills with pupils, staff and parents
