Job Description
SEN Teaching Assistant
A one-to-one teaching assistant is required to work with a child with Autism in Walthamstow. The role is to start immediately.
Preferred candidates will have gained additional training in working with special needs.
To apply, you must meet the following criteria:
Eligible to work in the UK
6 months’ UK experience as a teaching assistant working with children with Autism
NVQ in childcare or qualified to Degree Level
Proven track record and experience supporting SEN pupils
Exceptional communication skills
Good knowledge of the UK Curriculum
Recent references and a valid CRB/police checks
Above average organisational skills with the ability to work on your own and as part of team
The ability to quickly adapt to a new environment and fully understand the values and beliefs of the school
