Job Description
Assisting with the catering of the Rugby League match at the RAA
Role Brief
- Working in a team of 8-10
- Preparing varying cuisine with international influence
- Some supervisory duties
- Adhering to standard Health & Safety procedures at all times
- Excellent level of equipment maintenance
- Adhering to strict dish specification as ordered by the client
- Efficient management of allocated section
- Maintaining an exceptional level of cleanliness at all times
Skills Required
- Every applicant will have a minimum NVQ level 2
or equivalent qualification in professional cookery
- Proven experience in event catering is essential
Good working knowledge of modern culinary
techniques and disciplines
- Excellent knife skills are required
- Excellent organisational skills
- The ability to remain calm and professional
under pressure
- Good attention to detail
- Good leadership and directional skills
- Experience working on all sections of a professional
kitchen
